Basking in the glorious Somerset sunshine, Tonedale House was full of excitement and smiles at our Afternoon Tea Party. With the gardens in bloom and smell of freshly cut grass in the air, a full afternoon tea was the perfect activity for a late summer’s afternoon.
Visit Somerset Magazine along with invited clients and guests enjoyed a fun filled afternoon in the grounds of our beautiful country house. Country style was the theme of the party with beautiful bunting, golden straw bales and plaid blankets for seats and croquet set up for playing on the lawn.
Our guests were treated to some scrumptious food by Food for You catering served on pretty vintage china. This was very nicely washed down by some delicious local apple juice provided by Legglands Orchard, who supply us with the juice for our Big House welcome bags and also press apples from Widcombe Grange.
Peter Insall from the Big House Co gave a great speech to our guests about the fascinating local and family history of our very special house. Charlotte Skidmore, editor of Somerset Life Magazine thanked the guests for their continued support.
